Occupational Therapist – Paediatrics & Aged Care | Regional Outreach
Location: Regional Queensland / Outreach Communities
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 per year + travel support + professional development
Sponsorship: Available for the right candidate

About the Opportunity

Prospero Health & Social Care are representing a growing allied health provider delivering person-centred services across regional, rural, and remote communities throughout Australia.

We are seeking 1–2 experienced Occupational Therapists with a strong generalist skill set, including experience across Paediatrics and Aged Care, to join a supportive multidisciplinary team.

This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy variety, community-based work, and making a meaningful impact across diverse client groups.

The Role

  • Work across a mixed caseload including children, families, and aged care clients
  • Deliver functional assessments, therapy interventions, and capacity-building programs
  • Support clients with developmental, sensory, physical, cognitive, and functional needs
  • Collaborate with families, carers, schools, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide services across clinic, community, home, school, and telehealth settings
  • Travel to regional and remote communities, including occasional overnight stays

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Strong generalist clinical experience across Paediatrics and/or Aged Care
  • Confident working independently within community settings
  • Passion for supporting regional and rural communities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel overnight when required
  • Current driver’s licence

Essential Requirements

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Working rights in Australia (or eligibility for sponsorship consideration)
