Executive Assistant | 3-month government temp assignment | $47/hr + super

Your new company
An opportunity is available for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a South Australian Government department on a short-term temporary assignment. Supporting a senior executive within a policy and planning environment, this role will see you provide high-level administrative support while ensuring the smooth coordination of daily operations. The successful candidate will be available to commence immediately and thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, organisation and confidentiality are essential.
Your new role
Reporting within a senior executive support team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Complex diary and calendar management, including scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Coordinating and tracking correspondence through established processes and systems
  • Preparing, formatting and reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and professional presentation
  • Managing records and maintaining effective information management practices
  • Undertaking research and administrative project support to assist with correspondence and business operations
  • Providing high-level administrative support to a broader branch and executive team
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and service delivery

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience providing executive or senior administrative support
  • Strong diary management and meeting coordination skills
  • Excellent written communication and document preparation abilities
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Experience managing correspondence and record-keeping processes
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
  • The ability to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • A current National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one

The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable and capable of managing competing priorities in a busy executive environment.
