The Role

πŸ‘ Four years of mentoring and support from experienced experts in the industry.

The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of Fitting adn Turning in a workshop setting.

  • Use lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills to cut and shape metal.
  • Fitting and Assembling: Fabricate metal parts and sub-assemblies to build complete machines.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Diagnoses mechanical faults, fixes broken components, and services industrial plants or generators.
  • Precision Measuring: Uses fine measuring tools to check that parts fit together with exact accuracy and clearance.
  • Working in a safe, clean and team environment

This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As a Fitter and Turner apprentice you will receive both on and off the job training which will see you employed directly by AGA for up to four years.

  • Reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Good communication skills and able to work in a team environment
  • Able to commit to a four year apprenticeship
  • Willingness to listen and learn
  • Genuine passion and interest for working in the Panel Beating trade
  • Understand safety procedures and work guidelines
