The Role
💲 Earn as you learn with a weekly wage.
🎓 Gain a nationally recognized qualification - Cert III in Engineering (Fitting/Machinist).
👍 Four years of mentoring and support from experienced experts in the industry.
The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of Fitting adn Turning in a workshop setting.
- Use lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills to cut and shape metal.
- Fitting and Assembling: Fabricate metal parts and sub-assemblies to build complete machines.
- Maintenance and Repair: Diagnoses mechanical faults, fixes broken components, and services industrial plants or generators.
- Precision Measuring: Uses fine measuring tools to check that parts fit together with exact accuracy and clearance.
- Working in a safe, clean and team environment
This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As a Fitter and Turner apprentice you will receive both on and off the job training which will see you employed directly by AGA for up to four years.

- Reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills and able to work in a team environment
- Able to commit to a four year apprenticeship
- Willingness to listen and learn
- Genuine passion and interest for working in the Panel Beating trade
- Understand safety procedures and work guidelines
