District Nurse (RN)

We are looking for a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Registered Nurse who is passionate about community-based care and working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team based at the Hopetoun campus. This is a part-time, fixed-term position from 19 October 2026 to 2 November 2026, providing maternity leave coverage. The successful candidate will work on Wednesday and Friday in Week 1, and Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in Week 2. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, support clients to remain independent, and make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families within the community.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 12 months’ experience as a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated ability to deliver safe, high-quality care relevant to experience
- Experience working in aged care and in a community setting
- Sound clinical nursing assessment and care planning skills
- Excellent written communication skills, with proficiency in using a range of software applications relevant to clinical care
- Current flu vaccination evidence
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
- Serology and blood test results
- Current Driver’s Licence
