You will be joining a passionate hospo team at Belmondos Group in Noosa Heads, which operates several quality venues including El Capitano, Bar Rosi, Doña Cocina Mexicana, Delilah and Tanglewood Organic Sourdough Bakery. We are seeking qualified chefs for Grill Chef and Pasta Chef positions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a station without supervision
- Set and ensure a high quality standard of food with consistency 7 days a week
- Maintain a consistently clean kitchen and store areas
- Manage food portion sizes and wastage
- Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Be proficient in ordering and stock control
About you
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Proven skill and ability in managing food costs, including portion sizes and wastage
- Can control your temperament in stressful situations
- Have attention to detail
- Maintain a consistently clean kitchen and store areas
- Possess professional presentation
- Have great communication skills
- Be proficient in ordering and stock control
- Work well under pressure
- Be positive and have a 'can do' attitude
