Investment Process Analyst – Transformation & Operating Model

We are seeking an experienced Investment Process Analyst to support a key transformation programme within a leading financial services organisation.

Working across a major Exposure Management & Rebalancing programme, you will play a pivotal role in understanding existing investment processes, defining future-state operating models and assessing the business impacts of proposed changes.

This is a broad, hands-on role suited to an investment professional who combines strong investment domain knowledge with experience in business process transformation, operating model design and change delivery. You will work closely with investment stakeholders and cross-functional teams to help translate an evolving solution into a practical, scalable operating model.

With the programme currently in the proof-of-concept stage, this is an opportunity to influence the direction of the initiative from an early stage, helping shape how the future state will operate across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse current-state investment processes and identify opportunities for improvement across impacted business areas.
  • Develop future-state processes and operating models, defining roles, responsibilities, workflows and interactions between investment teams.
  • Map end-to-end process flows and identify operational dependencies arising from the proposed solution.
  • Conduct business impact assessments to understand how changes will affect teams, processes and existing ways of working.
  • Develop structured change plans to support the transition from current-state to future-state operations.
  • Prepare stakeholder and executive-level materials to communicate proposed changes, programme impacts and recommendations.
  • Support business readiness and training planning to ensure impacted teams are prepared for the new operating model.
  • Work collaboratively with investment, programme and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguity and drive deliverables forward.
  • Take ownership of emerging workstreams and deliverables, working autonomously in an evolving programme environment.

About You

You will bring a strong understanding of investment management and the ability to apply that knowledge to business process and operating model transformation.

You will ideally have:

  • Investment industry experience
  • Experience contributing to investment transformation initiatives, particularly those involving business processes, operating models or changes to investment operations.
  • A proven ability to document current-state processes and design future-state processes and target operating models.
  • Experience assessing business impacts across multiple teams and translating these into practical change and implementation plans.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to communicate complex operational changes clearly to both business teams and senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-sufficient approach, with the ability to take ownership of ambiguous deliverables and determine the best way forward.
  • The flexibility to work across investment analysis, process design, operating model development and change-related activities as required.

Experience in exposure management, portfolio rebalancing, unit pricing or investment platforms such as Matrix would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join a significant investment transformation initiative at an early stage, with genuine scope to influence future-state processes and operating models.

You will work across a broad range of deliverables, engage with stakeholders across the investment function and play a key role in shaping the operational impacts of a developing solution.

If you are an investment professional who enjoys working across disciplines, solving complex business problems and delivering practical outcomes, we would welcome a conversation.

Interested? Apply now or get in touch to discuss the opportunity in more detail.
