Senior Warehouse Manager

Horner Recruitment is partnering with ICP Group to appoint a hands-on Senior Warehouse Manager to its Asia Pacific headquarters in Tullamarine.

ICP supplies specialist coatings and surface products used across construction and sport, including tennis courts at international tournaments. Behind every shipment is a close-knit team that takes pride in getting things right-and pitches in to make it happen.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll lead a small, established warehouse team and take responsibility for safe, accurate and efficient daily operations.

This is an active role where you'll lead from the floor: operating the forklift, preparing orders, coordinating dispatch and keeping stock organised. You'll work closely with sales, customer service and operations to deliver for customers across Australia and overseas.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating incoming goods, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
• Preparing domestic orders and export shipments, including container packing
• Maintaining inventory accuracy through stocktakes, cycle counts and stock adjustments
• Checking orders and shipping documentation before dispatch
• Maintaining safe forklift operations, storage practices and warehouse housekeeping
• Leading and supporting your team through seasonal peaks
• Building positive relationships with freight providers and colleagues
• Contributing practical improvements as you learn the business

What you'll bring

You're an experienced warehouse leader who enjoys being involved in the daily work. You communicate clearly, stay calm when priorities shift and bring a practical, cooperative approach.

You'll need:

• A current forklift licence and confident operating skills
• Experience leading a warehouse team or managing warehouse operations
• A sound understanding of warehouse safety and safe stock handling
• Good computer skills and confidence learning systems
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and follow-through
• The ability to safely perform the role's physical tasks, including handling bulky products and 15-20 litre pails, using equipment and safe handling practices

Experience with MYOB inventory, export container packing or dangerous goods handling will be highly regarded. Training is available in ICP's systems, products and procedures.
