About our Client
Our client is a privately owned WA property developer experiencing significant growth across its development portfolio.
Operating within a specialised residential sector, the business has an established pipeline of masterplanned communities at various stages of planning, delivery and operation.
The Opportunity
Joining as an experienced member of the development team, you'll take responsibility across multiple projects and work closely with leadership on their continued progression. You'll operate across the development lifecycle, balancing commercial performance with planning, stakeholder management and project delivery.
Project Leadership
- Manage multiple developments across the project lifecycle
- Drive programmes, milestones and key project outcomes
- Maintain momentum across competing development priorities
Commercial Performance
- Maintain oversight of feasibilities, budgets and project performance
- Identify risks early and implement commercially practical solutions
- Contribute to broader development and acquisition decisions
Stakeholder Management
- Lead consultants, contractors and external project stakeholders
- Manage relevant authority and approval relationships
- Hold project partners accountable for agreed outcomes
Leadership & Reporting
- Provide clear project reporting and recommendations to leadership
- Work closely across development, finance and sales
- Contribute to the capability of the wider development team as it grows
About You
You will be an established Development Manager with genuine end-to-end
experience across masterplanned residential communities, land development or lifestyle communities.
You'll bring:
- Strong commercial understanding of development feasibilities and budgets
- Proven consultant and stakeholder management capability
- Experience navigating planning, approvals and project delivery
- Confidence managing several priorities simultaneously
- Sound judgement and the ability to operate autonomously
- A collaborative approach despite being capable of running your own projects
Culture matters here. You'll need to be ambitious and commercially sharp, but equally someone who enjoys being part of a close team and contributes when the wider business needs support.
