You will directly lead, mentor, and supervise a small, dedicated team of clinicians (currently 4 reports, with capacity for up to 5) while maintaining a reduced clinical caseload.
This role is designed to keep you grounded in high-quality Occupational Therapy practice while giving you the dedicated time, structure, and support needed to mentor others, drive clinical governance, and foster an exceptional team culture.
Key Responsibilities

People Leadership & Mentoring: Provide day-to-day leadership, direct supervision, and professional guidance to your team. Conduct monthly 1-on-1s, coach clinicians on complex OT cases, and build capability.

Quality & Compliance Oversight: Conduct monthly structured file reviews to ensure documentation excellence, clinical reasoning, goal alignment, and scheme compliance.

Balanced Clinical Delivery: Deliver person-centred, evidence-based care across NDIS and Aged Care caseloads.

Adjusted Billable Expectations: Enjoy a sliding scale for billable hours based on direct report capacity, ensuring your administrative and leadership time is protected:

3 Direct Reports: ~4.5 billable hours/day (90 hrs/month)

4 Direct Reports (Current Team): ~4.0 billable hours/day (80 hrs/month)

5 Direct Reports: ~3.5 billable hours/day (70 hrs/month)

Continuous Improvement: Submit process improvement initiatives, host quarterly skill-building sessions, and contribute to company-wide clinical governance.
What We Are Looking For

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, including a background as a Senior OT. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications: Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy.

Registration: Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.

Core Competencies: Strong OT clinical reasoning, excellent written documentation, a solution-focused mindset, and the ability to coach and uplift others.
