Job Description
The Role
We’re seeking a detail-focused and reliable Pest Scout to join the team on a large citrus farm in Emerald, QLD. This is an important hands-on role that supports crop protection by identifying pests and monitoring plant health. You’ll spend your days outdoors, walking through orchard areas to inspect trees and fruit, helping to maintain the farm’s high production standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Pest Scout, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the quality and health of the citrus crop. Your duties include:
- Scouting and inspecting farm areas to identify pests and bugs
- Accurately recording findings and reporting to supervisors
- Following directions to ensure thorough and efficient coverage of designated areas
- Working safely and effectively outdoors, often in warm conditions
- Supporting other farm activities as required to assist the operations team

Your Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A Driver Licence (Car) – preferable
