Hospital Veterinarian – Animalius Vet

Animalius Vet is growing – and so is our Hospital Vet team.

Since opening in 2020, we’ve built a thriving specialist referral hospital in Perth, offering advanced services in medicine, surgery, imaging, dentistry and anaesthesia. As our caseload and specialist capacity continues to expand, we are looking for a motivated full-time Veterinarian to join our collaborative hospital team. Is this you?!

The Role

Our Hospital Vets are hands-on across all departments, supporting specialists while delivering exceptional patient care.

You will:

•            Support specialist anaesthesia and patient recovery.

•            Manage hospitalised medical, surgical and dentistry patients.

•            Monitor complex and critical medicine cases.

•            Communicate with clients and referring vets.

•            Develop advanced skills in referral medicine and hospital care.

This is a full-time role worked across a welcoming 6-week rotating roster designed to support work life balance. Four weeks are daytime shifts totalling 38 hours per week, followed by two weeks of afterhours shifts worked Monday to Thursday only (32 hours per week, one week of evenings 3:30-midnight, one week of overnights 11:30pm-8am). Best of all, there are no weekends or public holidays, and overtime is actively minimised.
