About the Role
We're seeking a reliable Linemarker Grade 1 to support road marking and maintenance crews across Wagga Wagga and regional NSW. Duties include general labouring, vehicle escorting, equipment handling and truck driving where licensed.
Contract Details
- Pay: $45.45/hr + super
- Location: Wagga Wagga Depot
- Expected Duration: 2 Nov 2026 to 2 Feb 2027
- Hours: 7 am - 4 pm, with possible overtime, nights and weekends
- Travel: Must be available to work away for 7-10 days at a time
Key Responsibilities
- Assist road marking crews with daily field operations.
- Clean, prepare and maintain work vehicles and equipment.
- Drive escort vans and trucks where appropriately licensed.
- Load, unload and transport materials and equipment.
- Support traffic management and worksite safety.
- Perform general labouring and site preparation duties.
About You
Essential Requirements
- Current Traffic Control Ticket and Workers on Foot certification, or willingness to obtain at own cost.
- Valid Australian driver's licence (minimum Class C).
- White Card and previous roadworks, civil labouring or traffic control experience.
- Must live locally in Wagga Wagga or surrounding areas.
- Available for regional travel, overnight stays and occasional night or weekend shifts.
- Physically fit and committed to workplace safety.
- Able to listen to instructions and work collaboratively
- Valid Australian working rights required. No sponsorship available, applicants must reside in Australia.
- Able to pass mandatory police and reference checks.
Highly Regarded
- HR driver's licence and/or forklift licence.
- Experience with road marking, escort vehicles or regional road maintenance.
