Action Workforce is currently recruiting experienced, motivated and reliable Warehouse Order Pickers to join our team at a leading distribution centre located in Truganina.
We have ongoing opportunities available across three warehouse departments. Whether you have experience in grocery distribution, liquor warehousing or temperature-controlled environments, we want to hear from you!
Available Warehouse Departments
DRY – Dry Goods Warehouse
-Picking and preparing grocery and general merchandise orders
-Using voice-picking technology and using electric tuggers
-Building, stacking and wrapping pallets
-Working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven warehouse environment
ALM – Liquor Warehouse
-Picking and preparing beer, wine and spirits orders
-Operating voice-picking systems and using electric tuggers
-Repetitive manual handling of cartons and beverage products
-Maintaining picking accuracy and meeting productivity targets
PERISHABLES – Temperature-Controlled Warehouse
-Picking and preparing fresh and chilled grocery products
-Working in temperature-controlled environments
-Using warehouse picking equipment and technology
Key Responsibilities
-Accurately picking and preparing orders for dispatch
-Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
-Building and wrapping pallets to required standards
-Meeting daily productivity and accuracy targets
-Performing repetitive manual handling throughout shifts
-Following workplace health and safety procedures
-Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
-Working collaboratively with warehouse supervisors and team members
Essential Requirements
To be considered, applicants must demonstrate:
Previous warehouse or order-picking experience
Experience with voice picking, RF scanning or electric pallet jacks is highly regarded
Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Reliable transport to and from Truganina
Excellent reliability, punctuality and attendance
Availability to work Monday to Friday
Flexibility with early morning and day shift start times
Willingness to meet productivity targets and operational requirements
