About the Roles

These roles are about more than developing traffic management plans. You’ll play an important part in supporting maintenance and capital projects, working closely with operational, delivery and project teams to ensure works are planned safely, efficiently and practically.

Both positions offer a hands-on mix of technical planning, problem-solving and collaboration. You’ll develop practical solutions, provide technical advice and help drive continuous improvement in how traffic management is planned and delivered.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing traffic management plans from initial concept through to detailed delivery.
• Working closely with operational and project teams to ensure plans are practical, achievable and buildable.
• Analysing traffic data to inform safe, efficient and effective traffic management solutions.
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders and delivery teams to maintain clear communication and alignment.
• Providing technical advice and guidance to resolve planning challenges.
• Identifying opportunities to improve planning processes and strengthen delivery outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

Essential

• AWTM qualification.
• Strong experience in traffic planning, traffic signals and risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A practical, hands-on and collaborative approach.
• The ability to work confidently with operational teams and project delivery stakeholders.

Desirable

• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Experience working across both maintenance and capital project environments.
