Our client is a growing Instituional Equity Broker and Corporate Advisory firm seeking an expereienced Equity Bookings and Settlements candidate to join their team due to increased trading volumes.

The primary purpose of the rioel is to efficiently manage all equity trade bookings and settlements of primary and secondary market trades and to onboard all new client accounts

Requires 2+ years relevant Equity Bookings experience. No Working Holiday Visas accepted as cannot sponsor

Responsibilities:

• Completion of all bookings that arise from daily trading within appropriate timeframes and deadlines i.e. by COB every day
• Ensure settlements of all trades that arise from daily trading or capital raisings within appropriate timeframes and deadlines i.e. by 9am from day after and then ultimately by 11am on T+ 2
• Account opening and maintenance ensuring satisification of statutory obligations for Institutional and Sophisticated Investor account opening and maintenance in accordance with policy and proceduresincluding updating CRM, Trading systems, information systems, settlement systems (Agility), dealer lists and compliance.
• Maintain key relationships with settlement and clearing agent (FinClear)
• Monitor, update and liaise with corporate department on settlement status for primary market transactions
• Update CRM with daily activity in house stocks
• Provide administrative assistance to Head of Institutional Sales

Experience:

• Over 2 years’ experience working on a sales desk or bookings and settlements team
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. finance, accounting, statistics, engineering, science/geology or other relevant discipline) preferable but not essential
• Excellent communication skills.
