Production Planner - Injection Moulding

$75,000-$90,000 + Super | Permanent Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join an established manufacturing business in Knoxfield.
Injection moulding experience is essential and non-negotiable. We are open to candidates with strong hands-on injection moulding machine operating experience, even if they have not previously worked in a dedicated production planning role.
About the Role
You will be responsible for developing and coordinating production schedules while balancing customer demand, machine capacity, labour, tooling, materials and inventory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain production schedules
- Plan and sequence injection moulding production runs
- Monitor production against schedule and adjust as required
- Coordinate with Production, Moulding, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams
- Monitor materials and inventory requirements
- Maintain accurate ERP planning data
- Identify and escalate production or supply risks
- Support continuous improvement, capacity planning and operational efficiency
About You
- Strong injection moulding experience - essential
- Production planning, scheduling or manufacturing experience highly regarded
- Strong understanding of injection moulding processes
- Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- ERP/MRP and Microsoft Excel experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
This role could suit an experienced Production Planner, Production Coordinator, Moulding Supervisor, Senior Machine Operator or Injection Moulding Machine Operator ready to take the next step.
Experience with DELMIAWorks (IQMS), OEE, capacity planning, plastics manufacturing or FMCG will be highly regarded.
