Account Manager
- Manage a portfolio of overdue commercial and consumer accounts.

This position offers the opportunity to manage your own portfolio, build strong client relationships and develop your expertise across commercial debt recovery and legal recovery processes.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a portfolio of overdue commercial and consumer accounts
- Communicating with debtors via phone, email and written correspondence
- Negotiating payment arrangements and achieving mutually acceptable outcomes
- Monitoring payment commitments and following up outstanding matters
- Identifying disputes, account queries and hardship situations
- Providing regular updates and recommendations to clients
- Maintaining accurate records and account documentation
- Managing matters through to resolution, including legal escalation where appropriate
- Ensuring all activities are undertaken in accordance with compliance and privacy requirements
What you'll need:
- Previous experience in debt recovery, collections, credit control, recoveries or accounts receivable
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence handling difficult conversations professionally
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Sound commercial judgement and problem-solving ability
- A resilient and results-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion
- Professional approach to compliance, documentation and customer service
