Genus Fleet Management forms part of the GenusPlus Group, a rapidly growing ASX-listed company delivering essential infrastructure and services across Australia.

Based in Kenwick, our Fleet & Workshop team supports a large and diverse fleet operating across major mining, construction, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects nationwide. As our fleet continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter & Storeperson to play a key role in keeping our workshop and project operations running efficiently.

The Role Reporting to the Fleet & Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the sourcing, procurement, inventory control, and distribution of parts, consumables, and equipment required to support our fleet operations.
This is a hands-on role that combines parts interpretation, procurement, inventory management, and stores coordination within a busy workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and source parts for a diverse fleet including light vehicles, heavy vehicles, plant, trailers, cranes, EWPs, telehandlers, excavators, and associated equipment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Procure parts, consumables, tools, and workshop materials in line with operational requirements
  • Maintain inventory levels to minimise downtime and support workshop productivity
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and deliveries
  • Manage parts returns, warranty claims, and supplier credits
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock control systems
  • Raise purchase orders and process invoices in accordance with company procedures
  • Coordinate freight and logistics for urgent and remote site requirements
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and inventory audits
  • Support workshop personnel with timely access to parts and equipment
  • Ensure stores areas remain organised, compliant, and safe

About You You are a proactive and organised Parts Interpreter or Storeperson who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment and understands the importance of keeping equipment operational.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, Storeperson, or Inventory Controller
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and parts interpretation experience
  • Knowledge of heavy vehicles, mobile plant, construction, mining, or fleet equipment
  • Experience with procurement, purchasing, and inventory management
  • Strong computer skills including inventory systems, purchase orders, and receipting
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence
  • Current Forklift Licence
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities

Highly Desirable

  • Experience within mining, construction, fleet, transport, or heavy equipment industries
  • HR or MR Driver's Licence
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Ticket
  • Working at Heights
  • Dogging, Rigging, or Crane Tickets
  • Experience with fleet management or workshop systems
