About Our Client
Our client is a major player in the production of large precast concrete products used in bridges, highways, and underground water systems. Theyre expanding their team and are chasing hands-on production workers to join their Casting crew based out of their Swanbank factory.
What You Will Be Doing:
Working Monday Friday 4:00am -12:00PM OR 5:00AM 1:00PM (OT available) you will be working in a precast environment, within the Casting team. Core duties include;
- Manufacture high-quality precast concrete products including pipes, pits, culverts, headwalls and drainage components
- Set up, assemble and strip moulds, install reinforcing steel and cast, vibrate and finish concrete
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts and other production equipment (where licensed) to safely move moulds, reinforcement and finished precast products throughout the yard?
What You Will Need:
- Drivers licence + reliable transport
- Forklift ticket + experience operating
- Gantry experience (Highly Desirable)
- Previous experience in a concreting or precast based roles (min 12 months)
- Physically fit this is labour-intensive work
- Good attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical & Drug and Alcohol screen
