Community Worker
- Assess clients’ needs and develop educational, training, and support programs.
- Monitor client progress and prepare relevant reports and documentation.
- Liaise with community groups and government bodies to address community issues.
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Community Worker to join our team and support individuals, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients’ needs and develop appropriate educational, training, and support programs.
• Interview clients and assess social, emotional, financial, and other challenges.
• Monitor client progress and prepare relevant reports and documentation.
• Refer clients to appropriate government agencies, welfare services, and other support organisations.
• Assess community needs and available resources relating to health, welfare, housing, employment, and training services.
• Liaise with community groups, welfare agencies, government bodies, and other organisations to address community issues and promote available services.
• Provide support and assistance to families, young people, children, and people with disabilities.
• Assist young people in addressing social, emotional, and financial concerns.
• Prepare reports, submissions, and applications for funding and community resources.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Community Services, Social Work, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess client needs and provide appropriate support and referrals
- Compassionate, professional, and committed to supporting diverse communities
