An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join an iconic luxury lifestyle hotel on the Gold Coast.

This is a hands-on evening leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads with confidence and knows how to create memorable guest experiences while bringing out the best in their team.

THE ROLE

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll take ownership of the evening operation, supporting the Restaurant Manager and ensuring every service runs smoothly from first seating to last drinks.

- Lead busy evening services from the floor, managing the pace, team and guest experience
- Deliver warm, polished and memorable service in a premium environment
- Support the Restaurant Manager across evening shifts
- Lead, motivate and develop a diverse front-of-house team
- Support emerging talent to build their skills
- Drive revenue through strong commercial awareness, upselling and effective cost controls
- Create a positive, high-performing culture focused on genuine hospitality and exceptional results

THE MUST HAVES

- Proven leadership experience in a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant, bar or hotel environment
- Confidence leading busy dinner and drinks services
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities under pressure
- A genuine passion for guest service and creating memorable experiences
- Strong people leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing teams
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
