  • The opportunity:

    Our client is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their team in Coffs Harbour clinic and servicing the surrounding Coffs Coast and Clarence Valley region.

    You'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, work with other OT's in the office and the opportunity to grow the case load in the areas you are most interested in. Mentoring is available if required and there is an opportunity to mentor junior OT's for experienced candidates.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Delivering in-home services through a variety of community aged care programs, including;
      • Home modifications
      • Equipment and adaptive aids prescription
      • Pressure injury risk assessment and reporting
      • Functional assessments and reports
    • Deliver NDIS services
      • Types of referrals: Neurological disorders, Physical disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, spinal chord injuries
      • Functional assessments and reports
      • Assistive technology assessment and reports
      • Ongoing therapy for capacity building for daily activities
      • Cognitive assessments
      • Not required, but if Paediatrics is an area of interest this is an area we are able to support building a case load in.

    Benefits

    • Permanent (full time) or Part time position (3 days per week minimum)

    Requirements:

    • Hold an Occupational Therapy degree
    • Ability to build rapport with our clients and team
    • Strong organisation and communication skills
    • Valid police check
    • Valid drivers licence
    • Preferred: Experience in NDIS assessments
