About the Company & Role: 
Join a Global Medical Device Manufacturer who specialise in infection prevention.
This is an exciting opportunity for an engineering graduate or early‑career technician to launch their career as a Field Service Engineer. You’ll travel to customer sites across Australia to service devices, perform repairs, complete preventative maintenance, and carry out in‑field validation.
You’ll report to the Technical Service Manager and work within a supportive, high‑performing technical team. Comprehensive training is provided.

Regular interstate travel is required (QLD & WA)

Duties:

  • Service, repair and maintain medical devices
  • Travel to customer sites to provide technical support
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Maintain accurate service records and quality documentation
  • Monitor product performance and identify trends
  • Perform installation and in‑field validation on customer devices
  • Assist with customer training, product investigations and complaint resolution

 
Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Biomedical or Mechatronics preferred)
  • Hands‑on experience with mechatronics/electromechanical systems (highly regarded)
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and technical aptitude
  • Clear communication and solid customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong computer skills, particularly across MS Office
  • Exposure to ERP and CRM systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Understanding of ISO standards and GMP processes
