    About the Role:

    As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you’ll work with children with a wide range of conditions, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Down syndrome, muscular dystrophies, limb deficiencies, and genetic disorders. You will use your expertise in motor development to create personalised, evidence-based interventions that support each child’s unique needs and goals.

    • Facilitate gross motor development through engaging, child-centred therapy
    • Deliver stretching and strengthening programs tailored to individual needs
    • Improve physical skills such as coordination, balance, and posture
    • Provide postural retraining and motor control interventions
    • Implement task-specific training to build functional independence
    • Modify daily tasks to support inclusion and confidence
    • Educate and coach parents for continuity of care at home
    • Recommend and trial mobility aids, orthotic devices, and equipment
    • Use serial casting and splinting techniques when appropriate
    • Promote participation in adapted sports and leisure activities
    • Manage pain using age-appropriate physiotherapy strategies
