Job description
Trojan Recruitment Group is currently seeking reliable, motivated and hardworking Operations Agents to join our client, a leading global logistics organisation, based in Marleston.
We have multiple vacancies available across day and afternoon shifts, with flexible working arrangements offering approximately 4–8 hour shifts per day, depending on operational requirements.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in freight handling, parcel sorting or warehouse operations who are looking for ongoing work with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
About the Role
Your responsibilities may include:
- Sorting and processing freight and parcels
- Scanning freight using RF scanners
- Loading and unloading freight
- Allocating and retrieving goods from designated warehouse areas
- Completing basic administration and data entry tasks
- Maintaining general warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Safely lifting and handling items up to 20 kg
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- 6+ months' experience in freight handling, parcel sorting or a similar warehouse environment
- Previous RF scanning experience
- The ability to successfully complete a National Police Check
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling duties
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- A current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Good attention to detail and reliability
- The flexibility to work across available shifts [5:30am start - 9:30am (possibly more)]
