The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, commissioning, maintenance, and fault-finding of high-quality electronic security systems. You will work across a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from residential properties and local retail to critical infrastructure and large-scale commercial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Commissioning: Install, program, and commission IP CCTV systems, intruder alarm systems, and electronic access control.
- Maintenance & Diagnostics: Perform routine servicing, testing, and complex fault-finding/rectification of electronic security systems.
- Client Support: Provide high-level customer service, including guiding clients on how to operate their newly installed systems and mobile applications.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard of quality and complies with relevant Australian security and safety standards.
- Documentation: Complete accurate digital job sheets and technical reports via our team management platform.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven hands-on experience as a Security Technician working with CCTV, Access Control, and Alarm Systems.
- A valid NSW Security License (Class 2C or equivalent/higher is required).
- A current Open Cabler's Registration (with Structured/Coaxial endorsements preferred).
- A valid, clean NSW Driver’s License.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and sharp attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you will be the face of our reputable business on site.
- A positive, "can-do" attitude, punctuality, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
