- Provide locum cover for a small aged-care facility in Queensland.
- Work on various dates including September, October, November, and December 2026.
- Contribute to indigenous health outcomes and develop cultural competence.
Locum cover is required for:
- 23 - 26 September 2026

- 5 - 11 October 2026
- 16 - 21 November 2026
- 11 December 2026 - 3 January 2027

- Shift times: 0800 - 0800
- FRACGP/ FACRRM
- On call
Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.
Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
This is a small 14-bed aged-care facility in Queensland, offering the following services:
- Residential aged care
- Palliative care
- Non-dedicated respite care
- Transitional care
Location information
This is an Aboriginal community in Central Queensland, around 2 hours inland of Rockhampton.
Working in Aboriginal health can be challenging due to the complex care needs of many patients, but also very rewarding.
This opportunity will provide an opportunity to:

- Develop cultural competence and understanding of cultural safety
