Our Role

We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Full-time Maintenance Fitter to be based at our Traralgon Limestone processing plant in the Gippsland Valley. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will assist in the regular maintenance, modification, repair and unscheduled breakdown rectification services for the processing fixed plant and equipment.

Ordinarily this will be a day shift Monday to Friday role however you will be required to work on some Saturdays and will be available to attend unplanned breakdowns.

The successful applicant will have;

  • A trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter with good mechanical aptitude.

  • Experience with crushing and screening, milling, Kiln and Hydration equipment as well as sound welding and fabrication skills would be highly regarded but not essential.

  • A current manual driver’s license is required.

  • Current Forklift License

  • Dogging or Rigging tickets 

The successful candidate will have a good foundation understanding of the concepts of preventative maintenance and condition monitoring and will have a positive attitude towards safety with an ability to demonstrate leadership in this area. You will also have a commitment to Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental requirements and legislation, and will be successful at working as part of a team.
