Commercial Carpenter

We are currently seeking a Junior Qualified Carpenter who is ready to take the next step in their career toward a Leading Hand role. This permanent opportunity is with a well established Queensland-based commercial builder specialising in education refurbishments and new construction projects.
This role is ideal for a motivated carpenter who enjoys working in a structured commercial environment and is keen to build leadership capability on site.

Salary Package: $50p/hr + Super | FULLTIME/PERMANENT
Location: Main project based in Ipswich.

About the Role

• Work across active education refurbishment and construction projects in SEQ
• Assist site supervisors and foremen with day-to-day coordination
• Lead small crews and subcontractors under guidance
• Read and interpret drawings and scopes of work
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity

About You

• Trade Qualified Carpenter
• MUST HAVE 1–5 years post-trade COMMERCIAL carpentry experience
• Experience on education, commercial or large-scale projects preferred
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Willingness to step up, take responsibility and mentor others
• Solid understanding of WHS requirements on commercial sites
• Reliable, organised and career-driven
