About the Role
Join a commercial business development team based at our client's Alexandria office in Sydney. You will play a key role in managing the full bid life cycle from pre-qualification through to post-submission activities. As a vital member of the bid writing team, you will craft clear, persuasive written submissions that help secure new business. We're seeking an experienced writer with a passion for delivering winning proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret tender requirements to prepare and submit compelling tender proposals within deadlines
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to gather information and contribute to bid strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and with external partners
- Ensure strict compliance with established tender administration procedures
- Participate in weekly Work In Progress (WIP) and project strategy meetings as required
Skills & Experience
- Proven writing skills, ideally with some bid writing experience (not essential)
- Background in sales or marketing writing, with the ability to influence through compelling content
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Relationship builder who takes accountability and is results-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
