The Role(s):
As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of a variety of projects involving bulk earthworks, road construction & transport infrastructure (TfNSW) and more. You’ll support all aspects of project performance — from planning and delivery through to safety, financial control, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Assist project teams, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused culture.
- Manage client relationships and ensure compliance with TfNSW and company standards.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement, and resource allocation.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, reporting, and risk management.
About You:
You'll have experience across one or many of the below scopes of work:
- Bulk Earthworks and TfNSW (Transport for NSW) specifications
- Residential / Industrial Subdivisions
- Pavement Construction, Kerb and Gutter, Asphalt
- Stormwater Drainage & Utilities
You'll have all of the below:
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the civil construction industry.
- Proven demonstrated longevity across TIER 2 civil contracting businesses.
- 5+ years' civil engineering experience in Australia
- Demonstrated ability to support delivery of complex projects from tender through delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
