Process Engineer

Yeti Civil Products Pty Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer to support manufacturing systems, CAD automation and process improvement within our stainless steel drainage manufacturing operations.

The role will focus on improving production efficiency, product quality, engineering workflows and manufacturing processes across laser cutting, CNC press brake, welding and assembly operations.

Key responsibilities

1. Analyse manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and cost.
2. Develop and improve manufacturing procedures, work instructions and production systems.
3. Design and optimise processes for stainless steel fabrication, including laser cutting, CNC press brake forming, welding and assembly.
4. Develop CAD-based models, templates and automated engineering workflows.
5. Prepare engineering drawings, production documentation and manufacturing specifications.
6. Review production data, resource use and process performance to support continuous improvement.
7. Support new manufacturing technologies, equipment and automation initiatives.
8. Work with production, sales and management teams to improve product design, manufacturability and delivery.

Skills and experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field
2. At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering or industrial engineering.
3. Strong CAD design and engineering drafting skills.
4. Knowledge of stainless steel fabrication, sheet metal manufacturing or CNC production.
5. Ability to analyse production processes and implement practical improvements.
6. Strong problem-solving, communication and project coordination skills.
