This privately owned property group has an established national presence and a growing portfolio of residential and mixed-use developments.

With projects delivered through its internal construction capability, the business maintains involvement across design, commercial decisions, procurement and delivery.

The Role

• Prepare estimates, cost plans and preliminary budgets for new developments
• Review drawings, complete take-offs and identify scope gaps
• Engage subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and test market pricing
• Prepare trade scopes and complete subcontractor pricing comparisons
• Identify value-management and buildability opportunities
• Support procurement and contract administration as projects progress

The Criteria

• A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline
• Three to five years of estimating experience
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, trade scopes and pricing documentation
• Confidence completing take-offs, scope reviews and commercial comparisons
• Experience in residential, apartment, commercial or mixed-use construction
