Sekisui House, a global leader in residential development and master-planned communities, is seeking an experienced Development Manager to join our Apartment & Mixed-Use Developments team in NSW.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee end-to-end project delivery—from initial planning and community engagement to design, DA approvals, and final construction. Reporting to the Project Director, you will drive strategic targets, manage consultant teams, and ensure our projects meet the highest standards of financial feasibility and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of medium to large-scale residential and mixed-use projects.
  • Planning & Approvals: Oversee Concept Plans, Planning Proposals, and Development Applications (DAs).
  • Financial Management: Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial feasibility models (IRR, profit margins).
  • Consultant & Stakeholder Management: Direct internal/external consultant teams and build strong relationships with Local Councils, government agencies, and the community.
  • Sustainability & Governance: Champion Sekisui House’s environmental responsibilities while ensuring strict corporate governance and WHS compliance.

About You:

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Property Development, Town Planning, Construction, Architecture, or Property Economics (a strong focus on architecture/planning is highly preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of proven experience managing the delivery of medium to large-scale residential developments from initiation to completion.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Estate Master, MS Project, and MS Office.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage project financials, risk, and delivery optimization.
