The Opportunity
ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded national commercial contractor with an established presence in the South Australian market and a strong pipeline of upcoming work.
Known for delivering complex projects while maintaining a collaborative and people-focused culture, the business works across a diverse portfolio of refurbishment and new build projects valued between $5M–$30M.
With continued project activity across Adelaide, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of on-site delivery and work closely with an established project team.
This is an opportunity to join a contractor with the systems, resources and project pipeline of a national business, while working within a close and supportive South Australian team.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of commercial projects, ensuring programme, safety, quality and subcontractor performance are maintained from site establishment through to handover.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading day-to-day site operations across refurbishment and new build projects
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers
- Driving construction programmes and maintaining key project milestones
- Managing site logistics, sequencing and coordination of works
- Maintaining high standards across WHS, quality and compliance
- Conducting site meetings and coordinating daily project activities
- Working closely with Project Managers, Contract Administrators and project stakeholders
- Monitoring progress and proactively resolving site issues
- Managing quality inspections, defects and project close-out
- Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients

You will ideally bring:
- Proven Site Management experience within commercial construction
- Experience delivering projects in the $5M–$30M range
- Exposure to both refurbishment and new build construction
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, programming and site coordination
- Confidence managing multiple subcontractors and trades
- Sound knowledge of WHS, quality and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery
- Trade background in carpentry or similar will be highly regarded
