The Opportunity 

Join Medibank’s AI Hub as a Software Engineer (MarTech) in this12-month fixed-term opportunity. 

You’ll focus on marketing technology platforms and engineering solutions that support customer engagement and broader business initiatives.

Working across product, design, marketing and technology, you’ll build, integrate and optimise modern marketing technology capabilities while delivering high-quality software solutions that enable business growth and innovation. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, test and deploy high-quality software solutions across the full development lifecycle.
• Build and enhance marketing technology capabilities, platforms and integrations.
• Deliver software solutions that support customer engagement and marketing platforms.
• Contribute to application development, APIs, microservices and platform integration initiatives.
• Collaborate with product, design, marketing and technology stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
• Implement modern engineering methodologies, DevSecOps practices and platform improvements.
• Support production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement. 

Must Haves 

• Strong experience building and supporting enterprise applications and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, APIs, JSON and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with Java, microservices and cloud-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, RESTful APIs, integration patterns, CI/CD tooling or customer-facing enterprise technology solutions will be highly regarded.
