Senior Civil Engineer – Oran Park / Sydney

Beveridge Williams is an employee owned multi-disciplinary development and infrastructure consultancy renowned for its expertise in civil engineering, traffic & transport engineering, surveying, town planning, urban design, water resource engineering, environmental engineering and landscape architecture. We have 13 offices across Victoria, New South Wales and Northern Territory and employ over 400+ staff.
Due to a consistent growth and exciting new projects that have just been won, we have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer to join our team working on these large and premier projects. This position will be located in our brand new office in Oran Park, but could work from our Sydney office if more suitable. As a Senior Engineer in this role you will:
- Shape the master planning and detailed design of land development and infrastructure projects
- Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, designers and draftspeople
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders, including clients, councils and service authorities in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of specialist consultants, including construction engineers and project managers to get the best outcomes for all stakeholders
- Mentor, guide and support junior staff
Required Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
- 5+ years relevant industry experience, preferably within a land development / engineering design consultancy environment
- Extensive knowledge of local design standards and water authority codes
- Comprehensive 12d design skills and a working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Practical knowledge in areas such as project management and construction are highly desirable
- The ability to multitask, prioritise work and meet established deadlines
- Lateral thinking skills to tackle and overcome complex engineering problems
- The vision to plan new communities, and the ability to lead a team to bring your vision into reality

As outlined in our advert this role could work out of anyone of our NSW offices, ideally in our new Oran Park office but could be located in Sydney CBD office if preferable.. We also have modern hybrid working arrangements for a suitably experienced and professional Engineer.
