The Opportunity
ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing civil contractor entering its next phase after securing a in new project valued above $60M.
The business is looking for a Senior Project Engineer who wants to take on greater responsibility, work across significant civil projects and continue progressing towards Project Management.
With capability spanning civil construction, structural concreting and large-scale landscaping, you will join a team where people are supported to develop and given opportunities as the business grows.
The Role
As Senior Project Engineer, you will take a leading role across the technical and operational delivery of civil projects while working closely with experienced Project Managers and site teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading engineering activities across all stages of project delivery
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
- Managing project programmes and supporting commercial outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with design, specifications and safety requirements
- Driving quality assurance and WHS processes
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and delivery partners
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineering team members
- Taking on increasing project responsibility as you progress towards Project Management

- A relevant Civil Engineering qualification
- Senior Project Engineer experience within civil infrastructure

- Strong client and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior engineers
- A genuine ambition to progress into a Project Manager role
