The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine commitment 

  • Embedding child-centred practices that promote children’s voice, agency, and participation.
  • Supporting a positive service culture that founded on care, empathy, inclusion, and respect with our school community, families and stakeholders.
  • Leading educators to create engaging environments that support children’s wellbeing, learning, and development.
  • Proactively creating initiatives that encourage and reinforce every child’s potential for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program planning, delivery, and documentation.
  • Staff rostering and supervision.
  • Administration and financial management tasks (e.g. fee collection)
  • Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program.
  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare
  • 35 hours per week

 Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
  • Experience in the education and care of children
  • Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
  • Effective workplace communication and leadership skills  
  • Willing to assume the role of Responsible Person In Charge in the absence of the Coordinator
