About the role:
This is a hands-on role where you'll help restore and enhance natural environments while working alongside experienced project managers, environmental consultants and a passionate team. You'll be involved in:
- Bush regeneration and ecological restoration activities
- Native plant identification and management
- Revegetation planning and implementation
- Weed identification, control and monitoring
- Habitat enhancement and restoration work
- Maintenance and monitoring of environmental assets
- Collaboration with project managers, clients and environmental consultants
About You:
We're looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work and is genuinely passionate about protecting and improving our natural environment. You'll ideally bring:
- A qualification in Horticulture, Conservation & Ecosystem Management or a related field
- Experience in bush regeneration, revegetation, ecological restoration or a similar environment
- Strong knowledge of Australian native plants and ecosystems
- A current Driver Licence and White Card
- Chemical accreditation (desirable but not essential)
- A practical, hands-on approach and strong attention to detail
- A genuine passion for environmental restoration and biodiversity
