Your new role
As a Motor Assessor, you will work on-site at a dedicated assessment centre, reviewing vehicle damage and determining safe, cost-effective repair solutions.This is not a mobile or on-the-road roleall vehicles are brought into the centre for assessment. The role is ideal for experienced tradespeople looking to move away from physically demanding work and into a more sustainable, professional career.
Key responsibilities include:

Assessing vehicle damage and determining repair methodology Reviewing repair quotes and identifying additional damage Conducting post-repair inspections and quality audits Communicating clearly with repairers and internal stakeholders Using digital assessment tools and systems Supporting high-quality customer outcomes through accurate assessments

What you'll need to succeed
Trade qualification in Panel Beating or Spray Painting (essential)Minimum 5 years post-trade experience in a workshop environmentExperience writing quotes and estimating repairsStrong understanding of repair processes and quality standardsGood communication skills and confidence in speaking with customers or stakeholdersComfortable using computers and digital assessment toolsWillingness to work on-site, 5 days per weekFull Australian working rights preferred(Motor assessor experience is highly regarded but not essential.)
