They play a key role in delivering and maintaining safe, efficient road networks while supporting communities through a range of civil construction and maintenance projects.Your new role

Process project costing, financial transactions, revenue claims, and work order administration Monitor project and cost centre expenditure to ensure accurate allocation of costs Prepare month-end and ad hoc financial reports to support project tracking and performance monitoring Coordinate and track project-related financial documentation and records Support project teams by maintaining accurate financial and operational information Prepare, review, and validate employee timesheets, allowances, and entitlements Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and financial queries Provide financial and project administration support to operational teams

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in project costing, finance administration, payroll, or a similar roleStrong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and cost trackingExperience working with financial systems (SAP experience highly regarded)High attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasksStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills and ability to work with a range of stakeholdersCurrent Queensland C Class Driver's LicenceAbility to pass a criminal history checkWhat you'll get in return
