If you're a Site Manager who likes getting onto a project early, this one is at the right stage.
You'll take over a two-storey community hub in Clyde, valued at roughly $8m. The project has started and is currently in the in-ground works, giving you the chance to run it through the main build and handover.
The builder has been operating for more than a decade and has grown to around 60 people. They deliver commercial projects up to $20m and are steadily making the move towards T2, winning larger and better projects along the way.
There's a polished, corporate structure behind the business, with good systems and an experienced team around the projects. But it hasn't become so big that you're several layers removed from the people making the decisions. The directors remain hands-on and accessible.
This is also a business that rewards good work. The Site Manager currently running this project has recently won an industry award and is being moved onto a larger project, creating the opportunity in Clyde. It's a good example of how they recognise people who perform and give them the chance to take on bigger projects.
Strong repeat business, a solid pipeline and the quality of projects they're securing mean there's also somewhere to go once the Clyde project is finished.
For a Site Manager, that means joining at a good point in their growth. There's enough structure and support already there, with the opportunity to be part of the business as it takes on more substantial commercial projects.
To be considered, you'll need experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial construction projects of a similar size. A stable work history, good communication skills and the ability to take ownership of a project from this stage through to handover are essential.
The package is up to $200k + super, depending on experience.
