Due to a recently awarded major infrastructure project, our client is seeking both aProject Manager and Senior Project Manager to join their leadership team.This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile brownfield project from its early delivery phases and play a key role in the successful execution of major civil construction works.
The project scope includes extensive bulk earthworks, civil groundworks, utilities, roads, pavements, foundations and large concrete structures, offering the opportunity to work on one of the region's most significant civil infrastructure developments.
Your new role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the overall delivery of major project packages or the project as a whole, ensuring successful outcomes across safety, programme, budget, quality and stakeholder management.
This role will suit individuals who enjoy taking ownership, leading teams and driving outcomes in a collaborative project environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading project delivery from commencement through to completion
- Managing project budgets, forecasting and financial performance
- Administering contracts and managing commercial outcomes
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Leading project engineers, supervisors and delivery teams
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Monitoring project schedules and key milestones
- Driving safety, environmental and quality standards
- Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities
- Providing regular reporting to senior management
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within civil constructionExperience delivering projects valued at $20M+ within infrastructure, roads, earthworks or utilitiesStrong commercial and contractual management capabilityExcellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skillsA track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budgetAbility to manage multiple work and high-performing project teamsTertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
