Role OverviewThe Full Stack Developer will design, develop, test and support modern cloud-native applications across front-end, back-end, integration and infrastructure layers. The role requires strong experience in AWS services, microservices, API development, event-driven architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern software engineering practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Full Stack Developer will:Design, develop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript.Develop and support cloud-native backend services and microservices.Design, develop and integrate RESTful APIs using OpenAPI specifications.Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration solutions using API and event-driven patterns.Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK.Design and implement scalable relational and NoSQL data solutions.Develop secure, resilient and maintainable AWS-based solutions.Implement validation, exception handling, audit logging, monitoring and observability capabilities.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, quality assurance and security practices.Participate in solution design, code reviews and architecture discussions.Produce technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to team members.Work independently whilst collaborating effectively with technical leads, architects and delivery teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Front-EndStrong experience with React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript development.Strong experience in Modern CSS/Component libraries.Experience implementing complex business workflow in role based user interfaces.Experience with modern UI component libraries and responsive design principles.Backend & APIsStrong experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs in AWS cloud environment.Experience with OpenAPI and contract-first development.Experience developing microservices and distributed systems.Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, OIDC and JWT-based authentication.Experience developing backend services using Python.

Experience with:Serverless architecturesEvent-driven solutionsAWS networking, VPCs and private API integrationsSecure service-to-service communication
DevOps & EngineeringExperience with AWS CDK Infrastructure as Code.Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tooling.Strong Git, testing, debugging and troubleshooting skills.Experience integrating automated testing, security scanning and quality controls into delivery pipelines.
Highly DesirableExperience with observability, monitoring, structured logging and distributed tracing.Experience designing highly available, scalable and resilient cloud-native solutions.Experience working in enterprise or government environments.AWS Certifications (Developer or higher).
ExperienceMinimum 5+ years software development experience.Minimum 2+ years AWS cloud development experience.Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end solutions across front-end, back-end, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and operational support.Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
