Experienced Process Operators required for an established Australian food manufacturer in Reservoir
Your new company
Your new company is an established Australian-owned food manufacturer producing high-quality products for customers across Australia. Due to continued growth, they are looking for three experienced Process Operators to join their production team.
Your new role
There are three permanent Process Operator positions available, with one vacancy on each of the following fixed shifts:
- Day shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm
- Afternoon shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm
- Night shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am
These are fixed shifts with no roster rotation.This is a hands-on production role where you will operate processing equipment, complete mixing and batching tasks, and ensure products are manufactured safely and to the required quality standards.Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing mixing, batching and pasteurisation processes
- Operating and monitoring CIP systems
- Safely operating valves, pumps and flexible hoses
- Following SOPs and production procedures
- Completing batch sheets and cleaning records accurately
- Identifying and reporting process deviations
- Following site safety, food safety and environmental requirements
- Reporting production or quality issues to supervisors and QA
- Working closely with production, quality and maintenance teams
- Contributing to process and safety improvements
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of five years experience in a process or production operator role
- Previous experience within dairy, food or beverage manufacturing
- Experience with mixing, batching, pasteurisation or CIP systems
- Strong knowledge of production safety and food safety requirements
- The ability to accurately complete batch and cleaning documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to commit to a fixed day, afternoon or night shift
