Skid Steer / Bobcat Operator - HR Licence Required
- Operate skid steers and bobcats safely and efficiently.

We are currently seeking experienced Skid Steer / Bobcat Operators with a current HR Licence to join one of our established earthmoving and civil contracting clients.
Our client specialises in earthworks, site preparation and civil maintenance support, including ongoing works associated with Water Corporation infrastructure throughout the Perth metropolitan area.
This is an excellent opportunity for operators who are confident on the machinery, capable of working independently and comfortable operating both skid steers and heavy rigid trucks.
About the Role
Working across various civil and infrastructure sites throughout Perth, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating skid steers / bobcats safely and efficiently
- Driving HR tipper trucks to transport materials and remove spoil
- Undertaking site clean-ups, excavation and general earthworks
- Loading and unloading materials, including sand, soil and construction debris
- Assisting with backfilling, ground preparation and site reinstatement works
- Working around existing infrastructure and active civil worksites
- Conducting daily pre-start checks and maintaining equipment
- Working alongside civil crews to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently
What We're Looking For
To be considered, applicants will ideally possess:
- Current HR Driver's Licence - Essential
- Skid Steer / Bobcat Operating Experience - Essential
- Construction White Card
- Skid Steer ticket or relevant competency verification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar operating role
- Previous experience operating HR tipper trucks
- Sound understanding of civil construction and earthworks practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability and quality workmanship
Previous experience working on Water Corporation projects, civil maintenance, utilities or infrastructure reinstatement will be highly regarded.
