CONSTRUCTION LOGISTICS MANAGER – Hamilton Island

Are you an experienced construction logistics professional ready to lead complex projects in one of Australia's most unique locations? Hamilton Island is seeking a Construction Logistics Manager to oversee the end-to-end logistics function supporting construction projects across the island.

Reporting to the Development & Construction Manager, you'll lead a team of Carpenters and Trade Assistants while coordinating the safe and efficient movement of people, plant, materials and contractors. From project mobilisation through to completion, you'll ensure construction logistics are planned, executed and continuously improved to support the successful delivery of major developments across Hamilton Island.

Where you'll make an impact

• Lead all construction logistics activities across multiple island development projects
• Plan and coordinate site mobilisation, logistics, freight movements and contractor access
• Manage construction supply chains to ensure materials, plant and equipment arrive safely and on schedule
• Oversee site safety, traffic management and environmental compliance across project sites
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain project delivery timelines
• Lead and develop a team of Carpenters and Trade Assistants while fostering a strong safety culture
• Manage logistics planning, asset registers, equipment utilisation and site documentation
• Drive continuous improvement across logistics processes, systems and operational performance

What we're looking for

You're an experienced construction logistics leader with strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across complex projects. You thrive in fast-paced environments, lead by example and are passionate about delivering safe, efficient and well-planned construction operations.

To be successful, you'll need:

• General Construction Induction Card (White Card) (Essential)
• High Risk Driver's Licence (Essential)
• Demonstrated experience managing construction logistics or major project logistics (Essential)
• Experience leading teams, contractors and suppliers
• Strong understanding of construction safety, logistics planning and supply chain coordination
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Forklift, telehandler or other plant operating experience (Desirable)
• First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
