The business specialises in the production and maintenance of road tankers, aviation refuellers, tanker sub-frames, and other specialised transport equipment.Known for its strong workplace culture and high staff retention, the company continues to grow and is looking to expand its Derrimut workshop team.
Your New RoleReporting to the Production Manager, you will be working as a MIG and TIG welder in a clean and modern workshop located in Derrimut on day shift (6:30am 4:30pm). You will predominantly be working with aluminium and mild steel, with some stainless steel fabrication work required.
Your duties will include:
- MIG and TIG welding and fabrication
- Working with aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Fabricating and assembling specialised transport equipment
- Maintaining quality and safety standards
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Certificate III or IV in Engineering Fabrication
- Strong MIG and TIG welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to complete vertical welds
- Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
