This government department is undertaking a range of technology initiatives to enhance and support its corporate systems. An opportunity has become available for an experienced Test Analyst to join a collaborative project team and contribute to the successful delivery of key business applications.

Your new role
As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for providing software testing support across the department's corporate systems and ensuring the quality and integrity of technology solutions.Your key responsibilities will include:

• Executing test cases and conducting system testing activities
• Developing and maintaining test data, test plans, and test execution reports
• Producing testing summary reports and providing regular status updates
• Identifying, logging, and tracking defects through the relevant defect management tools
• Attending defect review meetings and reporting on testing progress and outcomes
• Verifying and signing off resolved defects following successful retesting
• Defining appropriate test scenarios, test cases, and associated test data
• Reviewing and updating test plans as directed by management
• Preparing and submitting test reports to project stakeholders and management
• Supporting quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Test Analyst in enterprise application environments
• Experience supporting software testing activities across corporate systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft .NET application environments
• Strong SQL database querying and data validation skills
